John Legend - Save Room Song Review
"Save Room" is beautiful but empty. The song`s sweet-though-restrained melodies reaffirm Legend`s love for stately production. Critics oftentimes compare Legend to a young Stevie Wonder, but it`s also obvious on "Save Room" that the Chicago singer/songwriter listened to his fair share of Burt Bacharach. While the song is gorgeous, there`s a certain distance between the lyrics and Legend`s tepid, crooning delivery, and that detachment spells trouble.
