"Piece of Me" is a song written by Christian Karlsson, Pontus Winnberg, and Klas Ahlund and recorded by American singer Britney Spears. It is the second single from Spears` fifth studio album Blackout. The song features backing vocals by Swedish pop singer Robyn.
This song is a brilliant statement that rewards careful listening. The atonal slabs of synth propelling the song forward ultimately will stick like glue in your head...as will the firmly articulated lyrics.
The music video[8] was filmed on November 27 and November 28, 2007 at exclusive Hollywood nightclub and restaurant, Social Hollywood, and had a total cost of US$500,000 according to dlisted.com. This is the most expensive Spears' music video since "Toxic," which also had the price tag of $500,000.
It was directed Wayne Isham, who had previously worked with Spears in the video "I'm Not a Girl, Not Yet a Woman" and in an international Pepsi commercial in 2002.
