'Glee' Star, Matthew Morrison, Felt He Was Out-Classed When He Recently Duetted With Sir Elton John Matthew Morrison Duets With Elton John

Matthew Morrison, who plays Will Schuester in the TV series "Glee", is in the recording studio at the moment putting down tracks for his first CD. Due for release in February this year, details have just been announced that he will duet with Elton John. It's been revealed that they will duet "a medley of 'Mona Lisas and Madhatters' going into 'Rocket Man'".

All details were meant to be "hush-hush", but Sir Elton has been telling everyone about it.

Disappointed,"Glee" star, Morrison, felt he was not coming up to the standard and even obliterating Elton John's classics. One gets so familiar with the original song, that anything else is just not right.

He is quick to praise Sir Elton for his support the whole time they were working together. Morrison was even certain that his vocals were not up to their usual standard. Talking to People.com, he said, "(It was) an out-of-body experience. I didn't really believe it was actually happening."

"I actually felt like I was a bad singer because we were singing a couple of his songs, and you're so used to hearing that voice on these songs, and I'm like, 'I don't sound good on these songs.' " Morrison says the collaboration was meant to be totally secret - but John is really chuffed with the work. He's described Elton as "really fantastic", he's been "telling everyone".

The "Glee" TV star said, "It was supposed to be a secret that he was going to be on my album, but he's kind of telling everyone. So I guess we can talk about it. He's just the most loving man, and we had the best time. He was so giving and so supportive. We just had a ball."
