Maroon 5 'One More Night' Music Video

The Video Shows The Cold Hard Reality Of The Life Of A Boxer With His Family ... It's Not Always Easy Maroon 5 'One More Night' Music Video

Maroon 5 have just released their latest music video for their newest single One More Night. This is the second track to come off their about-to-be-released fourth studio album, Overexposed. Only recently, the first single to be pre-released, Payphone, was premiered by Adam Levine on the hit TV show "The Voice" in the USA. It has charted well, debuting at number 3 on the Billboard Hot 100 Chart.

In the video for "One More Night", the camera follows Adam Levine as the father of a baby girl. To make ends meet for his partner and family, he works a gruelling schedule as a boxer. The camera captures the tension in the household as his partner worries about his (and their) existence, knowing the tremendous risks he is taking. Totally aware that their livelihood is dependent upon him winning the fight, his partner - played by actress Minka Kelly - is crumbling under the pressure. While Adam is at training for the evening's match, the camera shows events in the household where the partner is packing up their belongings in suitcases and boxes.

The clip follows the boxer on the way to his next fight. Scenes of the blow-by-blow boxing match show the battering that both parties endure. The contest ends with Adam Levine winning by knocking out his opponent.

Ecstatic about his win, he leaves to go home to share his bliss with his family. However, when he arrives home at his flat, he is devastated to find out that his family has left. The sadness shown is exaggerated by the bruises and cuts on his face from the fight.

In preparation for the fight scene, the Adam Levine trained with a boxing gym instructor. Adam said, "I got the guy who was training me. He hit me, and it hurt."
