Markus Schulz Releases Two-Disc ‘Buenos Aires ‘13’ Compilation
Miami-based DJ and producer Markus Schulz has turned into one of the most sought-after trance talents in the world. As a result, he was selected for Buenos Aires’ bicentennial celebration, and along with this, he performed at the country’s Ultra Music Festival and did two sold-out performances at nightclub Mandarine in June, performing for a total of 15 hours.
For these reasons, calling his latest compilation Buenos Aires ’13 makes sense. The two-disc compilation comes after Prague ’11 and Los Angeles ’12 and features multiple new tracks and remixes.
What you’ll hear over the course of the double album are remixes of Marscala tracks and Solarstone’s “Solarcoaster,” along with an original collaboration with Rex Mundi and track “Barracas.” Buenos Aires ’13 further provides a preview of Schulz’s upcoming studio album Scream 2 with track “Remember This.” Scream 2 is expected to come out on 2014.
Buenos Aires ’13 came out on October 4 through popular trance label Armada. To support, Schulz has been on tour, with other trance great Ferry Corsten joining him. Over the next month, expect to see him at the following locations:
10/4- Gainesville, FL – Forum
10/5- Tampa, FL – Amphitheatre
10/11 - Cleveland, OH – Liquid
10/13 – Montreal, CAN – Stereo
10/19 – Miami, FL – Mansion
11/1 – Pontiac, MI – Elektricity
