Marilyn Manson Threatens to "Kick Rob Zombie's A$$" on Stage
Some people wondered how Rob Zombie and Marilyn Manson were going to fare on tour and, after what was a promising start, things have quickly begun to deteriorate.
The Twins of Evil tour rolled into Michigan recently and fans were surprised when Manson screamed that he was going to “kick Rob Zombie’s ass as soon as [he got] off stage.”
After the uproar, Zombie took to Facebook to try to explain what happened. After thanking fans for having a “total blast,” he said that things turned ugly backstage and was unsure what had set off his “touring partner” since he was blaming Zombie for something he had nothing to do with.
Rob Zombie states that he actually was chilling backstage thinking it was going to be a great night when he heard Manson screaming threats. He says he doesn’t “get it” and went on to say: “Christ, I've known some of his crew for 20 f*cking years and some of his crew used work for me. It's all good. No one would f*ck with someone's show. It is ridiculous.”
In case anyone questioned Zombie’s ability to co-headline a tour, he pointed to successful treks with “Pantera, Slayer, Alice Cooper, Korn” and Megadeth.
He said that he could have handled the situation better but was genuinely taken off guard but promises to give fans the show they deserve.
