"Marble House" Video Review

In the wake of a critically acclaimed album and an incredible live show that became one of the musical talking points of 2006, The Knife return in 2007 with their brilliant new single Marble House.

The original version is one of the standout tracks of the aforementioned Silent Shout album. A duet with Jay Jay Johanson (who also co-wrote the lyrics), it now comes accompanied by a stellar remix package including a hi-nrg mix by Rex The Dog, a typically excellent remix by Booka Shade, the Italo styled Emperor Machine mix, and more alternative reworkings by Dave Sitek from TV On The Radio and The Knife’s personal favourites Planning To Rock. It’s quite the collection.

The video for Marble House is by Chris Hopewell and was featured in Resfest 10. It’s another magical video for The Knife that brings a wonderful new dimension to the song.

Marble House is released on February 19th. Details of a special version of the Silent Shout album are also forthcoming, plus further release plans.
