Lupe Fiasco Handcuffed and Detained at Airport

Lupe Fiasco was on his way to the east coast when he was detained by airport security.  As he attempted to board a flight at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) officials took him into custody over “technical equipment” he had in his possession.  While exact details have not emerged, sources have said that he was not allowed to bring the item(s) onto the plane. 

While no charges were filed, the experience was enough for Lupe to vent on his Twitter account. His tweets included:

"WOW...Fresh outta handcuffs @ LAX"

"Airport PD officer was just doing way too much"

"Even OD'd on TSA...let the arrest get before the CHARGES. We good tho...#TimeForPrivateJets. Shout to all the good airport cops and TSA folks...don't let the bad apples spoil the bunch!!"

Fortunately, the incident didn’t prevent him from performing for his fans at Rhode Island’s Ryan Center.
