"Lover On The Line" Video Review
David Brandes is a producer, who isn’t afraid of recycling his previous creations. Not so long ago, he revised an old E-Rotic hit song for Shanadoo, and now it’s time for N-Euro, an artist from Estonia, to reprise Lover On The Line, which Brandes wrote for Bad Boys Blue in 2003.
I really enjoyed the original version, and Lover On The Line also works wonderfully with N-Euro. In this version, N-Euro removes all the Eiffel 65-influences from the song, and replaces them with more extravagant dance sounds and electric guitar samples. In the end, this song is on the par with, or even slightly above the Bad Boys Blue version from 2003.
Not-so-surprisingly, the remixes byGroove Coverage and The Real Booty Babes are quite an uninspiring examples of German-made trance, so let’s not go any deeper into those. A far more interesting version of the song is called Love A Dub Edit, which turns it into trance with satisfying results.
