"Love Stoned" Video Review
LoveStoned / I Think She Knows Interlude" (also referred to as only "LoveStoned") is a song co-written and produced by Justin Timberlake, Timbaland, and Danja. It is to be the fifth single in North America, and fourth single in Europe, to be released from Timberlake's second solo album, FutureSex/LoveSounds.
The song is about Timberlake being in love with a girl who he thinks knows that he is attracted to her. The lyrics refer to "Flashing Lights" that hit her in a flattering way as he stares in amazement, suggesting the setting is in a night club. The term "LoveStoned" seems to describe his strong desire to be with her, that it's driving him insane. There is also a three minute Interlude to the song that starts out with a breakdown of the original beat from LoveStoned. It is made of Timberlake's beat boxing, synth beats and violins that is interrupted by an acoustic guitar which starts the rest of the interlude with a slower version of Lovestoned's beat with added percussion.
The video was directed by Robert Hales has a real blue techno background and in the interlude the background changes with Timberlake singing in a white background.
