‘Lonely Girl’ is a heartfelt, warm ballad that showcases the full potential of Sandi’s voice and is arguably the standout track on her debut album. It is an ode to the lost, isolated and abandoned and is not dissimilar to the sound of Sandi’s female influences Stevie Nicks, Joni Mitchell and Carole King.

Less than 10 weeks after she signed to RCA Label group singer/songwriter Sandi Thom scored three number 1’s. Her debut single ‘I Wish I Was a Punk Rocker’ went to the top of both the i-Tunes UK download chart and the UK singles charts. Her debut album ‘Smile.. It Confuses People’ climbed to No1 in the album charts and since release has sold over 300,000 copies.

Sandi’s success has begun to spread much further than the UK; she currently holds #1 for ‘Punk Rocker’ in the Australian singles charts for the eighth week running and is well on her way to American stardom after completing two well received US tours this year.
