Lindsay Lohan Found Unconscious: What Really Happened?

Earlier today, reports began streaming in that Lindsay Lohan was found unconscious in her hotel room at the Ritz-Carlton in Marina del Rey, California.  Paramedics were even called to the scene.

Soon after, it was being reported that nothing was actually wrong and that the star had already returned to work on the set of her upcoming Lifetime movie, Liz and Dick.

So what really happened?

Lindsay’s publicist Steve Honig released the following statement: "Lindsay worked a grueling schedule the past few days. She was on set last night at 7 pm and worked through the night until 8 am this morning. She took a nap before shooting her final scene. Producers were concerned when she did not come out of her room and called paramedics as a precaution. Lindsay was examined and is fine, but did suffer some exhaustion and dehydration. Lindsay was never taken to a hospital; reports to the contrary are false. She is resting now and is hoping to be back on set later this afternoon."

Her mother, Dina, echoed the explanation saying: "Lindsay's okay. She worked until 6:15am and wrapped, then went home to sleep. She's working so hard and just wants it to be perfect."

Hmmm… being overly tired and unconscious are two very different things.  Either someone overreacted (possible) or someone is lying (equally possible).  Either way, hopefully Lindsay is truly fine and well on her way to rebuilding her career.
