Lindsay Lohan Charged After Leaving Scene of Accident

Lindsay Lohan just can’t seem to stay out of trouble.  Apparently, while she was driving a black Porsche through an alley of New York City, she clipped a pedestrian and didn’t even stop to make sure that the person was alright.  The victim experienced a knee injury and called 911. Fortunately, they were treated at a hospital and released so, hopefully, it wasn’t too bad.

Looks like she was headed to the Dream Hotel in Manhattan’s Chelsea neighborhood where, as she exited the nightclub, she was arrested.  Fortunately, there are no reports of alcohol being involved.

The police charged the 26-year-old actress/singer with leaving the scene of an accident and causing injury.  She wasn’t hauled off to jail, though.  Instead, she was issued a ticket and will have to appear before a judge at some point.

Over the summer, Lohan collided with a dump truck on Pacific Coast Highway. Both she and her assistant sought treatment at a hospital but then Lohan reported to the set of Liz and Dick for filming later in the day.  That accident is also still under investigation.

The ironic thing is that, just earlier this week, Lohan complained that Amanda Bynes was receiving preferential treatment after a string of incidents, including being caught driving with a suspended license.
