Lil Wayne Told To Rest by Doctors; Forbidden From Air Travel
Rap superstar Lil Wayne's doctors have told him to rest for at least another week and not travel by air during that time period. Last week, the "6 Foot 7 Foot" MC suffered from a seizure-like condition while on board his private jet, which was then forced to do an emergency landing to get him some medical attention.
But his illness turned out to be not as serious as initially thought and Weezy was discharged pretty quickly from the hospital. He then also assured his fans that he is fine by tweeting: "Thanx for all the prayers! I am good."
TMZ, however, has claimed that Lil Tunechi has been in regular interaction with his medical team, and not only has he visited the hospital multiples times since that incident, a few nurses have also checked in on him at his residence.
He has been strictly told to give his professional obligations some rest and also forget about travelling by air for the time being. It remains unclear whether he will bow down to his doctors' orders or keep doing what he's doing. The latter seems more likely, as Wayne thinks that his seizures were simply a result of fatigue and work pressure. Hence, avoiding airplanes wouldn't affect his condition at all.
He has been living at his mother's house in New Orleans, Louisiana for the past few days where she was taking care of him. But he is expected back at his Miami base shortly as his tenth studio album "I Am Not A Human Being II" is scheduled for release next month and there is still a lot of work left for him to complete.
