Lil Wayne Is Out From Jail - Weezy Free

Lil Wayne was released from Rikers Island in New York City on Thursday after doing almost eight months of a one-year jail term on a weapons indictment. In March, Lil Wayne turned himself in to New York government bodies after he struck a plea deal in his case stemming from a 2007 gun criminal arrest close to the Beacon Theatre in Manhattan.

Wayne, 28, whose real identity is Dwayne Michael Carter Jr., will rejoice his homecoming with a luxurious party Sunday at a Miami strip club, according to MTV.

Mack Maine, the president of Wayne's Young Money record label, said the rapper's buddies plan to "treat him like a king, like the royalty that he is, and make him feel like we really missed him and welcome him back to the family, basically."

It seems that Wayne worked on new music while behind bars and he could show up back on stage sooner than expected. Maine and others have hinted that he could make a special cameo arrival at a Drake show on Saturday in Las Vegas. "I would just advise you to book a ticket out there. If you can get tickets to that show on the 6th, I would strongly advise it," Drake told MTV News about the possibility of reuniting with his mentor onstage.

Right after initial pleading with not guilty to gun possession after a July 2007 arrest, Wayne altered his plea to guilty last October in return for a lessened 12-month sentence. With good conduct, he served just the eight months.
