Lil Kim Reveals Promo Photo for New Album

The Queen B, aka Lil Kim, is making her way back. On Christmas, Lil Kim recently released an uber-glam promotional photo of herself through her Twitter account. The photograph showcases her in a fluffy all-black leotard and matching feathery heels, and is quite suspenseful, mentioning “Lil Kim” and “2012" in bold print.

Kim commented on the picture by giving a heartfelt thank you to her photographer, Mike Antonio, and to her fans.

“Merry Christmas & Thank U @MIKEANTONIO for the Amazing photoshoot. More to come!!!! :) Love U!!!!! Muahhhhhhh!!!!!!! :),” Kim tweeted.

“I Love U all :) !!!!!!!!! I'm Coming!!!!!!!!!,” she added before tweeting, along with the picture, “Hey Guys!!! I have a little Gift for U. A little preview of what's to come. Merry Christmas :) !!!!!”

Anyone familiar with Lil Kim knows that for the past year, she has been embroiled in a bitter lyrical battle for head rap honcho with her younger counterpart, Nicki Minaj. It is a fight that has left many fans pleading with the former to release her own collection of material independent of her foe. With this photo and her anticipated 5-track album slated to be released before the end of the year, it seems like Kim may have gone and done just that.
