Cleverly timed to coincide with her MOBO Awards success, Corinne Bailey Rae's debut single gets the rinse and repeat treatment as it hits the shelves for a second time. Our verdict remains the same - while she clearly has a stunning voice, silkily soulful and packed with nuance, it's about all that this song has going for it because of the lack of imagination invested in the instrumentation behind her. True, this leaves her voice free to do its job without distractions, but if she wants to avoid being lumped together with the likes of Katie Melua and Norah Jones then she'll need some more exciting producers in her team.
