Leann Rimes Talks Celebrity Bloggers & Finding Happiness

After consistently being the subject of countless negative headlines, country singer Leann Rimes is speaking out about the media circus that has followed her every move, and those celebrity bloggers who have pegged her as evil, judging her lifestyle choices, insulted her for being too thin, or even saying she didn't wear the right dress.  Especially when it comes to her past affair with The Playboy Club actor Eddie Cibrian, before the two married earlier this year.

Now that things have calmed down for Rimes, she says she has found happiness and is moving on, and with the hopes that everyone else will too.  Speaking in a recent interview with Las Vegas Review Journal, the twenty-nine year old takes a look back at those difficult moments growing up in the public eye and how she feels about those that write such mean spirited articles about her.

"I mean, my God, I've gone through lawsuits with my father.  Everything is water under the bridge. It's time to move on. I'm in a really good place in my life. I don't like to drag it up and talk about it very much.”

While the past two years may have been hard on the singer, Rimes says she is only human.  "But when you start so young, people want to see you as America's sweetheart. They forget you're human."

According to the celebrity, who refuses to let those negative bloggers define her, the individuals that have insulted her should be dealing with their own issues.  "They obviously have issues of their own.  They have to take it out on someone else that they do not know.  Unfortunately, we are in a world where people can sit behind a computer screen and there are no repercussions for what they say."

While Rimes may not have a terrific relationship with the media, she says she loves those that have supported her over the years.  “I have a great respect for fans and people in general. My mom raised me that way.  Hell, I'm human. I make mistakes. I get over them. I move on. I learn from them and don't make them again."
