LeAnn Rimes Releases The Music Video For 'Give'

LeAnn Rimes has just released the music video for Give, a deeply emotional track with advice about how to be a better person. Going further than just talking about the problem, LeAnn "walks the talk" by including some of Chicago's homeless individuals in her music video. Not only do they star in the clip, they perform some of the moves and even sing along with the lyrics, particularly at the end.

The video is introduced with stories of some teens, about how their lives were, along with a staggering statistic – about homelessness in Chicago. The scene then changes to the Grammy Award winning country music singer sitting in a train moving through the city. She sings, "Everybody's reachin' for something," which is what occurs with everyone regardless of who they are. Rich or poor, people strive for something. But more than that, LeAnn Rimes is giving everyone a message on how to live a happier life through helping one another. In other words, just give!

Nothing could be more useful than following her words of advice when she sings, "If you want to give love then give it / If you want to feel some forgiveness / Then you’ve gotta let go and do some forgiving of your own / If you want a friend then be one / A little bit of kindness show some."

"Give" is the third track to be released from her latest album Lady And Gentlemen. Although the music video has just become available, the song, written by Rimes herself, has been around since mid-July. One could best describe the track as a ballad with slow verses, but it builds up to a powerful chorus. The video becomes really moving near the end when the homeless teens join in, singing and moving together. This scene is a really happy one, as everyone now knows better ways of getting along - that to if you want a friend then be one.
