There’s been a fair amount of speculation about how Lana Del Rey would follow up Born to Die, her 2012 major label debut album that went to No. 1 in 11 countries. The Paradise EP held over listeners, but over the last year, a new album – as well as retirement for the pop star – has been rumored. So, what’s her course of action?

At the Hollywood premiere of short film Tropico this week, the singer born Elizabeth Grant announced its title, although a release date wasn’t revealed. She told the crowd: "I really just wanted us all to be together so I could close the chapter before I release my new album, Ultraviolence."

For fans, this is more reassuring, especially after that Nylon interview in October, when she played it coy about making new music but didn’t really give a direct answer: "When people ask me about it, I just have to be honest--I really don't know[...] I don't want to say, 'Yeah, definitely--the next one's better than this one,' because I don't really hear a next one. My muse is very fickle. She only comes to me sometimes, which is annoying."

However, the past year has seen a few leaks from Del Rey, including her Lady Gaga diss “So Legit” and “Maha Maha.” It’s not clear whether these are old tracks or potential new material
