After years of battling with her weight, the pop superstar has decided to love herself.
Lady Gaga has spoken out about her weight issues many times in the past (although she seems to usually pick outfits and costumes that are ultra revealing so that’s interesting…) and now she’s being just as vocal about loving her new meatier frame.
The 26-year-old recently revealed that she’s put on 25 pounds and claims that she is comfortable in her own skin. She credits her fans, whom she refers to as her Little Monsters, for helping her gain acceptance of her body.
She also explains that her boyfriend, Taylor Kinney, is has been very supportive of her: "My boyfriend prefers me curvier, when I eat and am healthy and not so worried about my looks, I'm happy. Happier than I've ever been."
She also addresses the fact that tabloids and websites have been scrutinizing her for gaining the weight. She says that she’s not going to “go on a psycho-spree” because of the criticism and says that she is “proud at any size.”
That’s definitely the right attitude to have! What’s better is that she’s trying to get her fans to jump on the self-acceptance bandwagon, writing: "Please sign up for little http://monsters.com and join A BODY REVOLUTION."

Normally one would just sweep this under the carpet and let it all be, but this is Lady Gaga, the token celebrity who has chosen not only to let her music define her but also her physical image (and vice versa). For the longest time we’ve been watching the Queen of Pop deliver us nonchalance, kitsch, drama, hyperbole, drama, blood stains, role reversal and anything that she thinks that will shock us. Is it any surprise that this time she has legitimately shocked the media world not so much because of some costume she is wearing but what actually exists underneath the costume or to put it sweetly who really exists behind the veneer of antics and tricks and slabs of meat.
