Lady Gaga’s Third Album Slated for 2013
Lady Gaga’s third album may be out in less than a year. Although the singer previously stated she would wait until September to reveal album details, in launching her new social networking website LittleMonsters.com, Gaga hinted the release would be out “before spring.” Beyond this, an official release date and title should be revealed by fall.
Other news has surrounded Gaga’s third disc. One is another rock collaboration – this time with Whitesnake guitarist Doug Aldrich. Tamar Braxton, of fansite Propagaga, exposed the rumor over Twitter, stating: “Whitesnake guitarist, Doug Aldrich, was recording with Gaga today in LA. @DJWS is rumored to have been in studio, too' Hmmmmm."
Aside from another rock collaboration, Gaga is recording the release in Los Angeles, where DJ White Shadow is in the studio. The singer has provided previews of two tracks. In one instance, she played a dance track from her car in New York City. While the name of the song has not been revealed, Gaga mentioned DJ White Shadow produced the track. Additionally, another new track, the piano-based “Princess Die,” has been part of her Born The Way Ball tour setlists.
What should fans expect for the release? Gaga, in an interview, compared Born This Way to maturing, and her third release to regression. She explained: "Let's just say I feel, I feel that when I wrote ‘Born This Way,’ I demonstrated a sense of maturity. And I feel that on the next album there's a lack of maturity — it's a tremendous lack of maturity or sense of responsibility."
