Lady Gaga Quiets Singing Fans at Chateau Marmont
Lady Gaga may be known for her over-the-top outfits and stage antics but two things are very clear – she knows how to control her Little Monsters (a name she’s affectionately given to her fans) and she knows how to show respect for others.
Earlier this week, Lady Gaga was having drinks and enjoying herself at West Hollywood's Chateau Marmont, a venue that is, of course, known for attracting celebrities but is also mostly used by the general public (at least the wealthier ones!).
One onlooker describes what happened next: "While walking back from the bathroom, Gaga stopped in her tracks when she heard a small group of people singing her song 'Edge of Glory.' The singing was very loud and made all the guests stop their conversation."
The singers were probably trying to get her attention, knowing she was in there, and they got exactly what they wanted. Gaga followed the sound of the voices, along with three male companions, and realized they were on the other side of a wall of hedges.
The source continues: "Gaga tried to speak to the fans through the wall but the singing was too loud so she had the hedges pulled apart as she stuck her head through the wall. She said, 'Guys, it's Gaga,' before the crowd exploded with cheers. Gaga told them she loved them and appreciated the support, but to please stop singing so the other people inside could eat in peace."
Perfect! She acknowledged them, took a few minutes to chat with them and then also asked them to respect Chateau Marmont’s other patrons. She then enjoyed a glass of wine with a girlfriend at the bar. Fierce!
