Kings of Leon's Jared Followill Gets Married

Jared Followill married Martha Patterson this weekend after being engaged since April.  The outdoor ceremony took place in Charlotte, Tennessee where the happy couple were surrounded by friends and family. 

The Kings of Leon bassist and his bride decided to take advantage of their rustic surroundings and go with a country look for their nuptials with him sporting Lucchese boots.  One guest also added: "They had a great farm-to-table cuisine with all of their favorite things. It was down home and very real. It was very much true to their style."  Sounds so sweet!

The 25-year-old musician tweeted a beautiful tweet right before the ceremony: "Today, I get married. It's the biggest step I've ever taken. I've dreamed about this day since I was a little girl."  Doesn’t every woman want their man to say such wonderful things about them?

In turn, his lovely 21-year-old bride replied: "Marrying my best friend today. I'm the luckiest girl in the world. :)"

Followill is the last member of the band to settled down and he explained that it was a bit stressful to find the right woman, not only for him, but that his brothers would approve of.  Seems like he’s found his perfect girl so we wish them all the best!

Aside from being in Kings of Leon, Followill has been working on his solo EP, Smoke & Jackal, which will be released on October 16, 2012.
