Kelly Rowland to Witness Beyoncé Giving Birth

Beyoncé and Kelly Rowland’s go way back, having been friends since they were children. They’ve maintained their close friendship throughout the founding of their music group Destiny’s Child and long after the group’s separation. So it doesn’t come as much of a surprise that Beyoncé would feel close enough to have her present during the birthing of her first born child.

According to reports, Kelly Rowland will be with Beyoncé in the birthing room when she gives birth to the child, due in February. Kelly confirmed the news saying, "I wouldn't miss the birth of Beyonce's baby. I can't. I don't want to miss those moments. It's life happening to people that I love and I want to be a part of it. I watched my best friend's baby being born on Skype."

Kelly’s been super involved in the baby hype and seems just as excited for the baby as Beyoncé and husband Jay-Z are. Word on the street is that Kelly bought the couple a $5,200 baby diamond bathtub, studded with Swarovski crystals. There are 44,928 crystals covering the pink bathtub, which weighs in at 3,000 pounds.

Rowland also was responsible for revealing the gender of the baby to Us Weekly earlier this month. She said, “I think her dad [Jay-Z] is gonna give her everything anyways, all I can give her is love. I think she’ll be very well behaved. Her parents will make sure of that.”

Gee, the woman can’t have any privacy apparently! I’m sure all was forgiven, however Beyonce did recently talk about what it was like to be secretly pregnant for all those months, "The whole time I definitely was thinking, ‘Everyone knows, everyone can see'".

She also spoke about the difficulty of performing as a pregnant woman, "When you're pregnant, it's a little bit harder to breathe, so it was hard doing all the choreography and singing at the same time."

It will be exciting to see what they name the baby!
