Kelly Clarkson Selling Texas Home

The original American Idol, Kelly Clarkson, seems to be in a period of transition in her life.  She recently turned thirty, has slimmed down her curvy figure and is enjoying life as a blonde.  More importantly, she seems to finally be in love.  She’s been dating Reba McEntire’s stepson, Brandon Blackstock, for a while now and people have even said that they are getting close to getting married.

Now there’s another sign that things may be headed in that direction.

Clarkson has put her Texas home on the market.  The 6,880 square foot Mansfield ranch is listed at $1.495 million and is a mere 25 minutes from where the singer grew up so, surely, having a home in that area is sentimental.  There must be a good reason why she’s giving it up.  She recently revealed that she’s enjoying her new country music lifestyle so that may be another hint at where she plans to live her life.

The economy isn’t great right now but the asking price isn’t outrageous and the home, which was built in 1993, looks pretty nice.  It features four bedrooms, six bathrooms, a gym, a theater room, a man-made pond, lap and diving pools, treehouse, dog runs and walking trails.  Sounds beautiful!
