Ke$ha Returns After Rehab Stay
Back at the start of 2014, it somewhat of a shock to hear Ke$ha had been admitted to rehab for an eating disorder. Press statements at the time claimed she would be at a Chicago facility for roughly 30 days, but the “Tik Tok” star had been absent from social media for longer.
Now, according to a recent string of Twitter posts, Ke$ha has returned – but with a different outlook. Tweets don’t hint at a party girl image; instead, she’s positive overall, even to the point of dropping her contentious dollar sign.
In a series of tweets, she wrote to fans on Wednesday: "Happy to be back! Feeling healthy & working on tons of new music=1. I can't thank my fans enough for all the love & support u have given med"
She then followed that with: "life is beautiful. I'm so blessed to have u all."
Somewhat of a departure from her days of brushing her teeth with a bottle of jack, don’t you think?
As well, the singer changed her Twitter handle from @keshasuxx to @kesharose.
On January 3, Ke$ha had been admitted to Timberline Knolls Residential Treatment Center to receive treatment for ongoing bulimia. Since being admitted rumors began circulating that long-time producer Dr. Luke pushed her to an eating disorder by making comments about her weight.
