Katy Perry enjoyed an amazing night at the American Music Awards.  The singer, who recently announced that she would be taking a break from her career to focus on starting a family with husband, Russell Brand, gave a beautiful and subdued performance of her song “The One That Got Away.”

After she finished singing, she was surprised, on-stage, by supermodel, Heidi Klum, who presented her with a special award.  Perry has become the first female pop singer to produce five number-one singles from a single album!

Katy Perry released Teenage Dream on August 24, 2010 which spawned the hits “California Gurls” (with Snoop Dogg), “Firework,” “E.T.” (with Kanye West), “Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.)” and the album’s title track, “Teenage Dream.”
