Kanye West's Lawyer Release Statement Regarding Sex Tape

Kanye West's legal representatives have released an official statement regarding the circulating reports that a sex tape of their client is being shopped around by an unknown seller.

Earlier today, the "Otis" hitmaker's lawyer Lisa M. Buckley's sent a written statement to AllHipHop.com, which all but confirmed that the tape in question is genuine and also revealed that it was stolen from Yeezy's computer.

The video in question allegedly shows Kanye having sex with an 18-year-old Kim Kardashian lookalike, and the rapper is very upset over the possibility of it being released for the world to see.

He claimed through his attorney that the sex tape's release will be an infringement of his "rights of privacy and publicity, and a cease and desist notification has already been issued to stop this from happening.

Addressing the people who are in possession of the sex tape, Buckley warned: "Be advised that the Screen Shot, as well as the Tape from which the Screen Shot was taken, were illegally obtained and believed to have been stolen from Mr. West's computer.

"Your posting, advertising, marketing, displaying and otherwise disseminating the stolen Screen Shot and/or other materials on the Tape constitute actionable violations of Mr. West's rights of privacy and publicity."

She further wrote: "We hereby demand that you: (1) immediately cease and desist from posting, advertising, marketing, displaying and disseminating the illegally obtained Screen Shot of Mr. West."

Despite the legal problems that the potential buyer and publisher of the video could face, it is still in very high demand and several top news agencies are in line to get their hands on it. It is believed that Sex.com are willing to bid as much as $1 million for it.

Meanwhile, TMZ has claimed that there are not one but two sex tapes of Kanye available in the market for the highest bidder, with the first one being 20-minute-long and the other one lasting double that time.
