Kanye West Coming Out Of The Dark

Kanye West has had a period of some very difficult times for sure. This young man started his downward spiral at the MTV Music Video Awards last year after snatching a microphone from Taylor Swift while she was giving an acceptance speech for her award. Kanye had decided, above anyone else, that it was Beyonce who had turned in the best performance and it was she who should have been awarded.

This excruciatingly embarrassing incident had everyone in the industry, and everyone watching, questioning if this rap artist had lost his senses along the way. Bludgeoned by the press, this was just the beginning for this talented artist. Even an apology by him did not go down well.

With the loss of his beloved mother, this artist seemed to be turning in on himself and indeed, he did drop off the scene for a while. After canceling the Fame Kills Tour with Lady Gaga, West returned to the studio to work on some new tracks. This culminated in him hiring a New York nightclub in the following May to show off a few songs which saw one of the tracks, "Power", being leaked onto the web.

By June he seemed to b recovering singing "Power" on the BET Awards program and collaborating with Rick Ross' 'Live Fast Die Young' track. By August, the video for "Power" was released when he announced that the new album would premier sometime in November this year.

Although he attended this year's VMA awards ceremony, there was no mention of the Swift incident from the previous year. He did, however, end the show with "Runaway" which went down exceptionally well.

By October this artist was back to his usual talented self proclaiming that his album would be called 'My Dark Twisted Fantasy' before confirming that his song collaboration with Jay-Z had actually turned into a full length record.

This volatile star is still canceling performances, the latest being a performance on the Today Show, but there is no doubt that this young man is here to stay, like it or not!
