Justin Bieber Sends Gifts to Olympian Missy Franklin

Missy Franklin dominated in the swimming pool at the 2012 London Summer Olympic Games but, underneath it all, she’s still just a 17-year-old girl who likes regular teenage stuff.  One thing that she’s admitted publicly is that she adores Justin Bieber. 

During the Games, right after she won her first gold medal, the Canadian singer tweeted: "Heard @FranklinMissy is a fan of mine now im a fan of hers too. CONGRATS on winning GOLD! #muchlove."

Her reply?  "I just died! Thank you!"  We can only imagine how much squealing and giggling came from that moment!

When she got home, she discovered that Biebs had actually sent her some gifts. She told the Today show: "He sent me a huge care package, which was so awesome.  I walk home and my mom is so cute. She took everything out and set it out on the table, and I had T-shirts and CDs and posters and all that stuff."

She revealed that her friend bought tickets to Bieber’s upcoming concert in Denver for Franklin’s birthday and the swimming phenom is hoping to score some backstage passes.

Hopefully, Bieber can make another wish come true!
