Justin Bieber Says 'Black Keys Drummer Should Be Slapped' For Grammy Diss
"The Black Keys" drummer Patrick Carney had recently told the press that he doesn't think pop star Justin Bieber deserves a Grammy awards. And now it's the "Baby" singer's turn to return fire with fire.
"The black keys drummer should be slapped around," Bieber told his army of more than 34 million Beliebers on Twitter. Such a show of instant aggression is not something that is associated with the androgynous Canadian and so he added a 'haha' at the end of his tweet to turn it into a humorous reply rather than an out-and-out counter insult.
Bieber has never won anything at the Grammys and has only ever been nominated twice during his young career at the event. He has won a total of 72 wins at other award shows but the Grammys have yet to show him any love. In total contrast, the aforementioned rock band were nominated in six categories in last Sunday's Grammy awards and ended up taking four trophies home.
Hence, it was understandable that Carney was flying high. So when he was approached by a TMZ reporter to comment on Bieber's disappointing run at the Grammys, he said: "He's rich, right? Grammys are for, like, music, not for money ... and he's making a lot of money. He should be happy, I guess."
What kind of retaliatory action would this insult bring out from the Beliebers is unclear but considering their violent history on the internet, Carney and company should watch their backs.
