Justin Bieber’s 2013 Plans May Include a Movie
Justin Bieber, in an interview with Billboard, discussed in general terms what he has in store for 2013. Although fans may not see a new studio album (he hasn’t confirmed or denied such plans), one project that appears to be a possibility is a movie. While he didn’t specify if he’s doing an actual film or another concert movie, he said: "I mean, I think that we're going to do some more touring and hopefully shoot a movie this year. A lot of great plans."
As far as touring is concerned, his Believe Tour began in the fall of 2012 and continues until the middle of August 2013. With the exception of a month-long break, he’s expected to be on the road until then.
Along with these two items, everything else is under wraps until it actually happens. He said: "I can't tell you cuz it would just defeat the surprise aspect of a surprise."
However, one release that appears certain is his latest acoustic album, which drops in January 2013. A natural progression after an acoustic performance of “As Long As You Love Me” at the American Music Awards, an acoustic album is likely to feature stripped-down renditions of his latest hits.
Bieber continued this acoustic trend at his recent Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve performance. If you didn’t catch this version of “Boyfriend,” watch below:
