Justin Bieber Premieres Music Video for “Confident”
With Justin Bieber getting into so much trouble these days, it’s hard to believe that he had a limited edition album come out last month. Yet, Journals was the culmination of all his Music Mondays songs –10 in total – and five additional tracks, plus a few extra videos.
One of the last tracks to be released was “Confident,” a song out in early December that featured Chance the Rapper. Although Journals can only be purchased individually, rather than the full collection now, Bieber’s team is continuing to promote it with a music video for this song.
The pop star, who has been on vacation with his model girlfriend in Panama recently, announced the news with a very succinct and direct post: “#CONFIDENTVIDEO this week. @ColinTilley @chancetherapper”
Colin Tilley, who has done various videos for the pop star throughout his career, has been directing and previously tweeted that the Biebs has been “killin’ it” with the dance moves. Instagram photos show the singer dancing in what appears to be a warehouse-type setting.
Journals, even with its lower than expected sales overseas, has been one of the singer’s high points since the fall. His latest movie somewhat bombed at the box office, and then his behavior ranged from throwing eggs at a neighbor’s home, having drug paraphernalia around when the police came with a search warrant, drag racing in Miami, and then going to jail. He’s expected to go to court for the recent charges on Valentine’s Day.
The video premiered later today and can be seen here:
