Justin Bieber Pens a Song About His Love for Sizzurp
Just how much can you love a drink containing Sprite and Codeine syrup? While authentic trap music for years has made reference to this drink and its effects, Bieber took the sentiment recently and put together a pop song.
According to a report from TMZ, the singer posted two tracks to his Soundcloud account this week, with one called “We Were Born for This.” Although the cut, really could be a B-side to his recent Journals collection, it contains lyrics that admit he’s made this concoction:
But the boys and the girls
They don’t know
What love is like
Love is like appreciation
Mixed in a double cup of sprite
Bieber has been suspected of sizzurp usage before. He’s been spotted with a Styrofoam cup of it at a club, and a recent raid of his house earlier this year – right after the infamous egg-throwing incident – showed paraphernalia indicating he and his housemates were regularly making this drink.
Aside from this track, the second to appear was a song called “Hard to Face Reality,” a song presumably about Selena Gomez. Their spat seemed dormant for a while, but since they’ve been spotted together, as well as seeing Bieber with Kendell Jenner again, Gomez removed many of her celebrity followers on Instagram.
If you’re a Belieber, what do you think about these two tracks? Is the “Baby” pop star losing his creative streak?
