Justin Bieber, Cee Lo Green, Jennifer Hudson To Attend 'Christmas In Washington'

With the annual ‘Christmas in Washington’ special scheduled to take place in less than a month, several musical artists have been announced, set to perform a slew of holiday songs for President Obama, the First Lady, their kids, and more .  According to MTV, ‘Baby’ singer Justin Bieber, Forget You’s Cee Lo Green, Jennifer Hudson, Nickelodeon star Victoria Justice, and the Band Perry, will all be in attendance.

The ‘Christmas in Washington’ special, in its 30^th year, will take place on December 11^th with the big celebration being held in the National Building Museum in Washington.  Late Night host Conan O’Brien will be hosting the event that will officially air on TNT on December 16^th at 8pm est.

Announcing his plans to attend and perform, Justin Bieber shared the news with radio station Kiss FM of England during a recent interview.  "President Obama ... his kids really like me, which is cool.  I'm actually doing 'Christmas in Washington,' and I'm performing for him and the whole Senate and all that", Bieber stated.

The young artist is very familiar with President Obama and his family, having previously performed at the Christmas special back in 2009, as well as several other events the first family have attended.  "I got to hang out with him in the Oval Office, which is pretty crazy, because no one really gets to go in there. It was pretty incredible. I got pictures with him."

Previous guests include Usher, Mary J. Blige, Mariah Carey, Sugarland, Miranda Cosgrove, Annie Lennox, Maxwell and Matthew Morrison, and more.  The ‘Christmas in Washington’ special will benefit the Children's National Medical Center.  According to TNT’s website the festivities are “executive-produced by 15-time Emmy winner George Stevens, Jr. and directed and produced by four-time Emmy winner Michael Stevens for The Stevens Company.”
