What’s the surest way to a hit? Bring together two of the biggest chart-toppers of the moment. That would be, according to recent news, Justin Bieber and Taylor Swift. Still readying his upcoming album Believe, the Biebs and Swift wrote a song together, and the track, while Swift’s vocals may or may not be on it, is destined for the “Boyfriend” singer’s sophomore release.

Like the singer’s debut and Christmas album, Believe includes several notable collaborations, including Kanye West, Drake, and now Swift. But even with a format that has worked relatively well for his past two releases, Bieber says Believe will be very different. In an interview with Capital FM, Bieber talked about the collaborations, including the song with Swift, saying: "You know, the whole album is just so different, there's so many different people collaborating. […] It's crazy. I mean I even wrote a song with Taylor Swift, so the whole album ranges differently."

The collaboration is expected to have a country vibe. He went on to describe the mixture of sounds listeners may hear, explaining: "With my music, it doesn't only stay in a box. It's so out there. Everything is so different and that's why I'm so happy with this album."

Aside from going into the studio with Swift, the “Baby” singer recently Punk’d her in a recent episode of the television reboot.

Calling the release “super special,” Bieber considers Believe to be his best album, although “Boyfriend” is the only taste listeners have gotten so far. Aiming for a more mature sound, he wants to connect with a broader, older audience while not turning away his younger fans.
