'Journey' Guitarist Neal Schon Gets Engaged to Michaele Salahi
The couple had begun their relationship a year ago after Michaele left her former husband Tareq Salahi and they have now decided to get married.
Michaele was present at Journey's Cancer benefit show in Baltimore on Sunday where he proposed to her in front of live audience and got an affirmative answer. Her divorce from Salahi got finalised two months ago and now they have decided to tie the knot.
She appeared on Bravo Network's reality show "The Real Housewives of D.C." in 2010 and got extra media attention for gate-crashing a state dinner at the White House with her then-hubby Salahi.
After she left him for Schon last year, Salahi filed a $50 million personal injury lawsuit against the Journey member and accused him of breaking up his marriage. After almost a year of legal wrangling, the case got settled out of court this August and it freed up Michaele and Schon to take their relationship to the next level.
