Josh Groban Will Co-Host ‘Live! With Kelly’

Singer Josh Groban will be joining television talk show host Kelly Ripa now that Regis Philbin has retired.  Appearing as Ripa’s guest co-host, Groban will reportedly, per The Hollywood Reporter, now fill the void of Philbin during the show's that will hit the air on December 7^th, 8^th and 9th.  Philbin recently left his long time post on the show this past November 18th.

This isn’t the first time the singer has appeared on the show, he previously made a guest appearance when the talk show duo, Kelly and Regis, were still working together.  During his upcoming stint as host he will interview former High School Musical’s Zac Efron, Anne Burrell, Charlize Theron, Abigail Breslin, Michael Symon and Cody Simpson.

On top of Groban’s forthcoming co-host duties, Derek Hough of Dancing with the Stars, 21 Jump Street’s Jonah Hill, and actor Jerry O’Connell have also been tapped to fill Regis' empty seat on the morning show opposite Ripa.

In other news, Josh Groban, who just ended his ‘Straight To You’ tour earlier this month, announced during his last show that he would be moving to New York, making the big city his new home.  "Everyone is so nice to me," he shared during his performance in Madison Square Garden. "Even when you're rude to me, you're nice."
