Johnny Wright looking for next pop sensation - helped by Jonas Brothers

Johnny Wright, American music manager, who has managed highly successful groups including New Kids on the Block, Backstreet Boys, and Jonas Brothers, is back in action searching for his next pop sensation. Assisting him are the Jonas Brothers.

The search for this new talent is going online in a web-series called "On the Spot: Johnny Wright's Quest for the Next Pop Sensation".

The three Jonas brothers: Kevin, Joe and Nick will collaborate to decide on the finalists. Indicating their willingness to assist their manager, they said: "Johnny [Wright] has always been such a great friend, mentor and manager, not only to us but so many other amazing artists."

Commenting on Johnny Wright's special gift for finding and developing new talent, they continued: "He has such a long history of finding great talent so we are excited to watch him during On the Spot, give our opinions where we can and see what he's able to pull together."

Also helping the three Jonas boys will be celebrities Ciara, Aaron Carter and other artists.

Finals for the competition are scheduled for April 29 - June 3 next year.

Concerns are wild around the web about some similarities between "Introducing Me" by the Jonas Brothers and "I'm Yours" by Jason Mraz. In a recent interview, Mraz agreed with a comment saying: "I noticed a few similarities in the melody."

However, there are no plans for any legal action. The "I'm Yours" singer went on to say: "I heard the song, and it was just a tremendous, tremendous horror of a tune."

However, the Jonas boys are safe and are able to sit back and relax, since he has no plans to take them to the court. "It wasn't enough to pick up the phone and argue with somebody about it. If anything, I just wanted my $1.29 back that I spent on iTunes."

The Jonas Brothers' song "Introducing Me" has been recorded for the new Disney Original Movie "Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam".
