John Legend And Ludacris Team Up For New Single

The newly engaged singer John Legend just revealed his plans to release a new single this past January 23^rd, according to the singer’s twitter account, and RTT News.  Collaborating with rapper Ludacris, Legend’s fresh new track is entitled ‘Tonight (Best You Ever Had)’, and comes off of his upcoming fourth album, a follow up to his 2008 album ‘Evolver’.

Tweeting its eventual arrival, the Grammy winner seems excited over his collaboration with Luda, and his upcoming album that is expected to sound different from anything fans have heard from the singer before.  "We’ll be putting out a new single this week. ‘Tonight (Best You Ever Had)’ – Me feat. @Ludacris. Look for it on Monday!” Legend shared. “The single will be on my upcoming album (unless y’all hate it!), but it’s coming out on the ‘Act Like a Lady…’ soundtrack also…”

Unfortunately the single has now been delayed according to Legend via Twitter.  The singer did tell fans he hopes to reveal his newest track by January 25^th instead.  “So.... Can't link to the new single today as I had promised. A lil label red tape got in the way. You'll definitely hear it by wednesday!”

The song was reportedly produced by Phatboi Production and will also be appearing on the soundtrack for the upcoming soundtrack for the comedy movie ‘Think Like a Man’ from director Tim Story.

As for Legend’s new studio album, the thirty-three year old singer has been working with artist Kanye West for months.  "We worked together pretty closely on it, he's executive-producing it, and co-writing a lot of stuff with me, and I think it's going to be fun.'
