Jimmy Fallon and Carrie Underwood do Country Rap

During her recent appearance on the late-night talk show, things got pretty "c'rappy." Jimmy Fallon and Carrie Underwood do Country Rap

Jimmy Fallon loves to have fun with the guests on his show and often finds creative ways to get them involved.  This time, he was able to persuade Carrie Underwood to discuss their “past” as a performing duo.

Fallon explained that in the 90s, the pair were actually known as Jim Carrie (which, of course, he says was confusing for people who were fans of the comedian, Jim Carrey) and they took hip-hop and rap songs and gave them a country twist.  This country music rapping was abbreviated to “c’rap” (country rap).

There is plenty of hilarity in this clip that shows them taking on classics including “Straight Outta Compton,” “Nuthin But a G’ Thang” and “The Humpty Dance.”

Both Fallon and Underwood have a hard time keeping a straight face as they talk about their musical past but it’s the costume changes that really steal the show.
