Fans expecting to see Jessie J’s upcoming tour, announced in May 2012 and scheduled to start in March 2013, are going to have to wait a bit longer. This past week, the singer, now also a judge on The Voice U.K., revealed through Twitter that the tour is being delayed to October 2013.

Specifically, Jessie J is putting the finishing touches on her upcoming album, a follow-up to 2011’s Who You Are. For the release, the singer is working with Sia and Diane Warren and may even collaborate with Ed Sheeran and Trey Songz.

In addressing the news about her Nice to Meet You Tour, she apologized to fans, stating: "I am honestly truly sorry but I hope you all can understand that it's just because I would like to take more time to finish my new album. I promise to make the show my biggest and best ever and cannot wait for you all to hear my new songs. :)"

Tickets for the tour, however, are still valid, and the new dates, as of this week, were announced. The singer, as well, promised to perform her new material on tour. The rescheduled 2013 dates are:
