Jesse McCartney To Guest Star On CSI
Singer Jesse McCartney has signed on to star in an episode of the long running crime drama CSI. McCartney, who is a former member of the boy band Dream Street, before going solo, will appear in an episode sometime next year according to reports coming out of AceShowbiz.
The twenty-four year old is scheduled to play a character by the name of the Wes, who just recently graduated from college. After crashing his car and falling unconscious, he will work alongside CSI's resident character Nick, played by George Eads, in the new episode entitled ‘Seeing Red’. Together the two will investigate what happened to McCartney’s alter ego. The episode will hit the airwaves on February 15th.
The song writer’s cameo appearance will also coincide with actress Elizabeth Shue’s debut on CSI as the character Julie Finlay. McCartney isn't the only recording artist in recent times to join the CSI team. Under the Mistletoe’s Justin Bieber also appeared as a guest star last year. His time on set was followed up by rumors that the cast found the young star to be spoiled and out of control.
Aside from Jesse McCartney’s scheduled guest star appearance on CSI, the 'Shake' singer is also said to be working in the studio on an upcoming new album that has been delayed. The album is most likely behind schedule due to his busy slate of appearances.
McCartney has been working on several voice roles recently, one of which is the latest Alvin and the Chipmunks sequel, Chipwrecked. The actor just reprised his role once again as Theodore.
He is also attached to the TV series ‘Young Justice’ in the reoccurring role of Dick Grayson. Aside from this, McCartney is also involved in the TV movie Locke and Key, the big screen feature ‘The Clockwork Girl’, Tinkerbell, and the 2013 flick ‘The Diary of Lawson Oxford’.
