Jennifer Lopez Working On A 'Greatest Hits' Compilation
Jennifer Lopez's private life may be the centre of media talks these days but she is working on a music project too. Her vocal producer Kuk Harrel has just confirmed that "On The Floor" singer is planning to release a greatest hits album and the project is already in a very advanced phase.
In a quick sit-down with MTV News, Harrell said, "I just got the call a week ago that the greatest-hits album for Jennifer Lopez is coming up. Now I'm just waiting for them to put on the schedule [and] let me know what songs we're actually cutting and stuff like that."
The vocal coach was very tentative about the details and so he ended the matter by simply adding, "I think [when] I find out what the direction is, I will definitely go in the lab. I will get in the lab with Tricky Stewart and The-Dream and see what we can come up with for it."
Since getting her big breakthrough in the American music industry through her 1999 debut album "On the 6," J-Lo has delivered many hit songs, which she now intends to put into a single compilation.
Her smash hits "If You Had My Love", "I'm Real", and "All I Have" spent several weeks at the summit of Billboard Hot 100, while "Love Don't Cost a Thing", "Jenny from the Block" and "On the Floor" also fared impressively by reaching the Top Five on the list.
