Jennifer Lopez Weighs In On Possible American Idol Replacements

It seems that at any given point in the day, someone is commenting about the drama over at American Idol and who better to voice their opinions than ousted judge, Jennifer Lopez.  When ABC News asked her who she would like to see sitting on the judges panel now that she and Steven Tyler are definitely out, she had a lot to say.

"I think like Bono or Bon Jovi or Mick Jagger. You know me, I think big."

Well, if the producers couldn’t afford her request for a $2 million raise, which would have increased her salary to $17 million for the third season, it’s highly unlikely that they will have the funds to secure someone like Bono. 

She also commented on the fact that things will change now that she and Tyler are gone.  She said:  "We had a little bit of magic. I don't know, with him gone, it might be a different formula."

I’m sure everyone will be glad when Fox finally reveals what the next season of American Idol will look like so that everyone can stop talking about it!  Even creator Nigel Lythgoe had to laugh at the hysteria: "There are so many names coming at me at the moment. I joke about it and say, 'Oh, I'm looking for the Three Stooges or Jerry Lewis.' But at the end of the day, I think what we've seriously got to talk about is just using people for a year."
