Jennifer Lopez Lyrically Discards Engagement Rumour

Some news agencies had recently claimed that Jennifer Lopez and her young boyfriend Casper Smart have gotten engaged. Their suspicion stemmed from the fact that J.Lo was spotted wearing a huge diamond rock on her left hand's ring finger, which usually means that the person in question is betrothed.

However, in this case, Lopez has revealed that she was just wearing one of her own rings as a piece of jewellery and it certainly wasn't a symbol of Smart's love for her. In order to clear up the whole misunderstanding, she posted a short Jenny from the Block-inspired message on her official website that read: "Is there a ring on my finger? Let me tell you... Rumors!!! Don't be fooled by the rocks that I got. No engagement!"

The famously curvy Lopez filed for divorce from her soon-to-be ex hubby Marc Anthony last summer but didn't have to wait long for new source of love. Smart, who was her backup dancer back then, stepped up and became her new lover, despite the fact that she is 17 years older than him.

While the paparazzi might be a tad disappointed to be proven wrong about this engagement thing, a large contingent of Lopez's fans is relieved to hear that their beloved diva is not getting serious with Smart. Rumour has it that he receives thousands of dollars in monthly allowance from her and even though she has denied it, her boy toy's reputation is not too great among the Lopez faithful.
