Anyone who has lost a significant amount of weight can relate to struggling with accepting that we no longer need that larger size when we’re shopping for clothes – especially if the weight loss was rapid.  Oscar-winning singer/actress Jennifer Hudson knows all about that now!

When the former American Idol contestant was tapped to become a Weight Watchers spokesperson, it didn’t take long before we saw a whole lot less of her.  Of course, that’s because she really did drop the pounds very, very quickly.

As she explained in a recent interview in Redbook, she is still getting used to the smaller version of herself.  She said that had gotten to the point where she knew how to be plus-sized and now she still keeps thinking that she will “probably need an extra-large or a large” which prompts her stylist to remind her that she now needs “a medium or a small.”  That’s a huge difference!

In addition to following the diet plan, she started working out four days a week back in 2010 and she has manage to keep off the 80 pounds that she lost.  Her inspiration – setting a healthier example for her 3-year-old son, David Jr. with her fiancé, David Otunga.

Naturally, the 31-year-old star admits that it’s not always easy and that the holidays can be tough so she doesn’t even allow people to bring certain foods to her house (like banana pudding) since she can’t resist indulging.

Whatever works!  She looks amazing!
