Jennifer Hudson Shares Latest Projects

The mother of a two year old is lending her voice to a familiar lullaby for a good cause. Jennifer Hudson Shares Latest Projects

Jennifer Hudson has been a busy woman recently. She’s been recording a version of Brahms’ Lullaby for a Pampers commercial.  It is for a good cause, too.  The song will be made available for free download from the Pampers Facebook page and the diaper giant will be donating $100,000 to the Julian D. King Gift Foundation, the charity Hudson and her sister created in honor of her nephew who was murdered several years ago.

While many are anticipating updates on her third album, Hudson, who lost a lot of weight through Weight Watchers, launched a clothing line on QVC and finds time to take care of her growing toddler, David.

Still, she is focused on her music which is clear from the planned collaborations her upcoming album is going to feature. She revealed that, although there is much more writing to be done, she will be working with Diane Warren, Drake and Jessie J.

She also expects to enjoy the summer months saying that she’d like to go “wherever the heat is. I love it when it's 100 degrees. Like right now I couldn't be happier because it's so warm and I look for the warm weather. I'm from Chicago and so it's so unpredictable, the weather. So I really look, like, "What's the temperature going to be today? OK, well where is it hot at? That's where I'm going!" But if I could pick a place to go probably Florida or the Bahamas. But again anywhere where it's warm. That's where I wanna be.”

I’m looking forward to hearing her new material and I’m happy to hear that the charity for her nephew will be getting such a generous donation from Pampers!
