Jason Derulo Announces Third Studio Album ‘Talk Dirty’
Jason Derulo experienced success around the world last year when third album Tattoos was released, but it came out everywhere but the U.S. Now, according to an announcement from Radio.com and a follow-up interview with Rap-Up TV, Tattoos is coming over to this side of the pond under a new title.
Called Talk Dirty after the single that’s currently ranking highly on the charts, the release comes out April 15. Several artists will make appearances: 2 Chainz already stops by on “Talk Dirty,” Jordin Sparks will do a duet, and Snoop Dogg, Tyga, and Kid Ink appear on other tracks.
Along with these guest artists, several producers are tied to the project: Timbaland, DJ Mustard, RedOne, Wallpaper, The Cataracs, Ammo and Martin Johnson, Jon Bellion, and others.
Derulo currently is touring the U.K., but in an interview, he explained that he was looking to do something different this time around: “When I was making this album, I wanted to go in and experiment and do something that was just totally different and off the wall.”
As well, the cover art features Derulo doing an homage to Janet Jackson’s 1993 Rolling Stone cover.
Tattoos and Talk Dirty both follow 2011’s Future History. Since debuting last year, Tattoos has gone onto being Derulo’s highest-charting album in the U.K.
